Here, in their own words, are short reports by some of our alumni, telling you a little about themselves and their journey through university and into work.
My name is Abdinasir Abdullahi Farah, and I was born and raised in LasAnod, Sool region of Somaliland. I am a beneficiary of the Darlington – Gacmodheere sponsorship program, and here is my story.
My name is Ismail Mohamed Hersi. I am originally from Burao, Togdheer region of Somaliland.

As a graduate of medical school of university of Hargeisa, capital city of Somaliland, I am forever indebted to the Darlington Gacmadhere Foundation for the scholarship awarded to me during my studies.
My name is Farhan Farah Ali, and I completed my secondary school studies at Sheikh Bashier Secondary School in Burao, Togdheer region of Somaliland during the 2010-2011 academic year, achieving A grade in every subject.
